Solo

Solo is a photographic experience that explores the connection between the human body and a land that is slowly dying. It is an invitation to nurture emotions that inspire regenerative actions — for the soil and for ourselves.

“I went into the Solo experience thinking it would be a photoshoot. What I didn’t expect was how personal and grounding it would feel.

From the very beginning, Dan created a space where I didn’t feel like I had to perform or pose. There was no pressure to “look good” or act a certain way. Instead, I felt invited to simply be present — with the landscape, with my own thoughts, and with the moment. That alone made the experience feel different from anything I’d done before.

The locations and the way the shoot unfolded made me slow down. There were long pauses, silence, walking, breathing. It felt almost like a meditation with a camera quietly observing. I wasn’t the center of attention — the environment was just as important as I was, and that balance made everything feel honest and powerful.

When I saw the final photos, I was genuinely moved. They don’t feel like portraits in the traditional sense. They feel like fragments of a story — my body existing within a vast landscape, small but meaningful. The images capture emotions I didn’t even realize I was expressing at the time: vulnerability, calm, solitude, and connection.

What I loved most is that the photos feel timeless. They’re not about trends, poses, or social media aesthetics. They feel raw, intimate, and deeply human. Looking at them now, I don’t just remember how I looked — I remember how I felt.

This experience is for anyone who wants more than just beautiful photos. It’s for people who want images that say something, that carry emotion, and that reflect a real moment of connection with nature and with themselves. I would do it again without hesitation.”
